How advanced coursework is recognized
Unweighted GPA is our consistent starting point in review — but we know rigor varies across programs. Once enrolled, students are weighted on the same 4.0 scale used by Florida’s State University System:
Honors, Pre-AP, Pre-AICE, Pre-IB — +0.5 (an A = 4.5)
AP, Dual Enrollment, AICE, IB — +1.0 (an A = 5.0)
This calculator doesn’t apply weighting, but advanced coursework may still factor into your application review.
